Greg Dombrowski

GregOwner/Funeral Director

Greg graduated from Hampton High School in 1989. He attended and graduated from the North Iowa Area Community College in Mason City, Iowa where he was employed at the Hogan Bremer Colonial Chapels in Mason City, Iowa, he then attended and graduated from the Cincinnati college of Mortuary Science in Cincinnati Ohio, while attending CCMS he was employed at the Dalbert and Woodruff Funeral Home in Cincinnati, Ohio. He served his internship at the Sietsema Vogel Funeral in Hampton, Iowa and became a co owner of the business in 1996. Greg is a member of the Hampton United Methodist Church, serving on the leadership committee, Hampton Rotary Club, National Funeral Directors association and the Iowa Funeral Director association where he serves on the Legislative committee. He is married to his wife Corey and they have two daughters Caitlin and Halie.


Greg Counsell

GregOwner/Funeral Director

Greg was born and raised on a farm near Riceville, Iowa, graduating from Riceville High School in 2003.  He attended and received his associate of science degree from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, and attended the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls.  In 2007, Greg enrolled in the Mortuary Science Program at Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny, and was employed at Brooks Funeral Care in Des Moines.  Greg joined the Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home in 2008, while he was finishing his education at Des Moines Area Community College.  Upon completing his internship with Sietsema Vogel, he was hired as a full time funeral director and then became part owner in 2013.  Greg is a member of the Church of the Living Word in Hampton.  He is on the Franklin County Fair Board and is a member of Hampton Lions Club. Greg and his wife Nichole have one son Elliot.


Carlee Jean Viet

CarleeFuneral Director

Carlee was born and raised in Hampton, Iowa. She graduated from Hampton-Dumont High School in 2012. After graduation, Carlee moved to Ames, Iowa, and attended Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny, Iowa, where she received an Associate in Arts Degree, and then received her degree in Mortuary Science. In May 2016, she moved back to Hampton and is serving her apprenticeship with Sietsema Vogel Funeral Homes to become a licensed funeral director. Carlee is glad to be back in her hometown and serving families in her community. In her free time, Carlee enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her chocolate lab, Memphis.


Brian Stevens

BrianAssistant

Brian is a native of Sibley, Iowa, a graduate of Morningside College in Sioux City, and has been a resident of Hampton since 1976.  He moved to North Iowa to serve as middle school band director for the Hampton-Dumont Community Schools, a position he held for thirty-three years.  Brian now finds great satisfaction in being a part of the Sietsema-Vogel family and helping families in Franklin and Butler County as they navigate through the process of losing a loved one.

He and wife, Robbi, are the parents of two grown children, Doug and Brooke.  Brian is active in the Hampton United Methodist Church and enjoys woodworking, performing in numerous musical ensembles, model railroading, and walking with his black lab, Belle.


Corey Dombrowski

Corey Dombrowski is the office manager of Sietsema-Vogel Monument Sales and helps out with day to day operations at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home. Corey was born and raised in Hampton and is committed to raising her family here too. She is the wife of Greg Dombrowski and the mother of two daughters Caitlin and Halie.

 


Patrick Sietsema

Patrick was born and raised in Hampton and graduating from the Hampton High School in 1983 and also from NIACC in 1986. He has a wife Maurita and two daughters Madison & Morgan. Patrick is a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hampton where he serves as vice president of the executive council. Patrick’s hobbies include golfing, boating, snowmobiling and spending time with his family.
