We are so sorry to hear about Joel's passing. What a wonderful person he was. May God grant you peace and comfort during this difficult time. Hugs and prayers.
Our sympathy to all of you at your loss.
We had several opportunities to talk with Joel when he visited his parents, and he was always friendly and welcoming. We especially appreciated his sharing Don and Ferne with us and our kids. Through our friendship with Joel's parents, we felt like we knew your family when your kids were growing up. Don and Ferne were proud of all of you and talked of you often. Your photos were prominently displayed in their home. I'm sure Joel will be missed by many.
Joel was one of my best friends growing up on 7th Ave South in grade school (Franklin). We had some great times in that nabe and some great sleepovers where we kept his folks on the run! Always fun going bowling with Joel and his dad! RIP buddy!
I always enjoyed working with Joel. I was shocked and saddened at the news of his passing. Our thoughts and prayers to the Roode family.. Elmer and Patty Pearson. X-256
Sally, thinking of you and your family. Gladys Fanny
You have our deepest sympathy, Sally, Mike, Brian and Kristin and Zach and girls. I seemed to run into Joel at Fareway frequently and our conversations always led to talking about our granddaughters. His whole face lit up when he spoke of them. Joel was a kind, professional, gabby guy. He will be missed by many. Mary Lou Semler
