Obituary

Maxine Elizabeth Letzring, 93, of Latimer, Iowa, passed away August 28, 2010, at the Hospice Care in Madison, Wisconsin. She was born January 21, 1917, in Chapin, Iowa, to George Lewis and Hazel (Switzer) Green. Maxine graduated from the Chapin High School. She was married to Raymond for fifty plus years. Maxine was the Postal Clerk at the Latimer Post Office. She was active in the Franklin County Historical Society, Latimer Park Society and Wig Wam Campers Club. Maxine was an avid quilter and enjoyed reading, she also enjoyed traveling and wintering in Texas. She is survived by her son Jack (Nancy) Letzring of LaFarge, Wisconsin, son Jerry (Rudy) Letzring of Fremont, Ohio, daughter Carol Letzring of Blue Mounds, Wisconsin, grandchildren Chris Fisher, Tim Letzring, Steve Letzring and seven great grandchildren. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter in law Kaye, grandson Bryan and granddaughter Debra.
