When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me I want no rites in a gloom-filled room. Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little- but not too long And not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we once shared Miss me- but let me go. For this is a journey that we all must take And each must go alone. It's all a part of the masters plan A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick of heart Go to the friends we know And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds. Miss Me-But let me Go! Author Unknown Deb you are in my thought and prayers...

Our deepest condolences are with you in your time of grief. May you continue to find comfort in the memories that you all shared together and get comfort from knowing one day Sickness will be no more and Death will be a thing of the past. In times of grief such as these, We find it comforting to meditate on the words found in the Holy Writings at Job 14:14, 15. Job expressed his faith that God would bring him back to life if he should fall asleep in death as he said: All the days of my compulsory service I shall wait, until my relief comes. You will call, and I myself shall answer you." The scriptures indicate that it is possible to be reunite with your loved one in the near future, right here on earth under peaceful, righteous conditions. Psalms 37:10, 11 offers us this promise. My sincere condolences to your entire family.

I salute Gordie and honor the relationship I had with him. Always the consumate gentleman, he was an adult role model I aspired to be like. I am sorry I will be in Des Moines working and this will keep me from attending his service. Not only did I want to pay my personal respects, I would have liked to reconnect, if only briefly, with five of the most lovely ladies ever to grow up in Allison - Sharon, Deb, Rhonda, Terri and Lori. I offer my sincere sympathy to you in the loss of your father, a truly great man. Savor your memories forever. Dirk

Gordon, always remember our Sunday fishing trips with the guys, we use to always catch a few, and shared tons of laughs. I bet you are showing some of the disciples your fishing secrets! Rest in peace my friend!

You will be missed by Alvie and I. You made us laugh so much at the stories that you told. That cute little smile that warmed a room, now a bright new star in Heaven's glory. Love you, dear friend.
