Ruth A. Aaron, 91, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton.

Ruth was born on August 21, 1927, in Franklin County, Iowa, one of three daughters to H. A. (Alfred) and Clara (Heller) Fedelleck. She graduated from Hampton High School. On October 24, 1947, Ruth was united in marriage to Ralph H. Aaron at Grace Baptist Church in Sheffield, Iowa. To this union two sons were born, Vonn and Daryl.

Throughout her life in Iowa, she held various secretarial positions including local businesses, schools, and a bank. She also taught Sunday School at Grace Baptist. Ruth and Ralph moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, in August of 1973. After her move to New Mexico, she again worked as a secretary for two churches and the university. Ruth and Ralph were members of Del Norte Baptist Church in Albuquerque until Ralph went to meet his Savior in May 2015. Ruth then returned to Hampton in October of that year to be closer to her family. Upon her return, she again joined First Grace Baptist Church (formerly Grace Baptist).

Ruth had a great faith and was dependent on her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a faithful prayer warrior and longed to speak with others about her faith.

Ruth sang in the church choir and with her sisters, the Fedelleck sister trio. Her family was very special to her, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ruth is survived by her son Vonn (Sandy) Aaron of Hampton, son Daryl (Marilyn) Aaron of Lino Lakes, Minnesota, grandson Josh (Lindsey) Aaron of Norwalk, granddaughter Miranda (Chris) Proctor of Norwalk, granddaughter Kimberly Aaron of Minneapolis, Minnesota, great-grandchildren Alexa, Kyler and Kade Aaron, and Paxton, Hendrix and Lenix Proctor, brother-in-law Wolfgang Kersting, nephew Jerrett (Hanniah) Koenigsberg, niece Connie Kersting, along with four great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Clara, husband Ralph, sister Beatrice Kersting and sister Gerline (Clarence) Koenigsberg.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. What seems to be a long life is never long enough where our loved ones are concerned. Our Heavenly Father Jehovah feels the same way. That is why He has promised to swallow up death forever and soon end all our suffering. (Rev. 21:3-5; Isa. 25:8) May His promises be a soothing balm for your grieving hearts.

Ruth was such a special friend, she was like a mother to me. She was always so thankful for her family and the privilege of being close to them in Iowa.

I was blessed to have Aunt Ruth with me in Albuquerque as I grew up, got married, and became a parent. She was my Great Aunt and a great aunt! She and Uncle Ralph always came to my birthday parties and I thought it was cool that her birthday was two days after mine. I realize now children's birthday parties aren't always fun for adults--but they were always there. I loved going to their house and looking at all the fabric Ruth had for various sewing projects. It was fun listening to her and her sister Gerline (my grandmother) tease each other. Ruth always had a contented smile and a sense of peace about her--her faith filled her up to overflowing. I am thankful to have had Aunt Ruth's solid support, quiet encouragement, and faith-filled presence in my life. She will be missed for a little while--just until we are reunited before the throne in heaven.

Blessings to Ruth's family and friends in experiencing the loss of such a lovely lady. She lived and readily shared her faith, and I'm so grateful to have known her. Just keep picturing her so joyous in His presence.
