Betty Jean Fielding, 91, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. She was born October 14, 1928, in Rockwell, Iowa, to Jake and Mary (Kopitar) Jones.
Betty attended schools in Sheffield. On December 31, 1947, she was united in marriage to Harry Fielding in Hampton. Betty was affiliated with the Hampton Church of Christ. She worked as a homemaker and enjoyed reading, doing crosswords and shopping. Betty also enjoyed watching westerns and other movies. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Betty is survived by her son Ron Fielding of Hampton, son Terry (Millicent) Fielding of Hampton, daughter Debrah (John) Bell of Story City, son David (Teresa) Fielding of Hampton and daughter Kim Wilcox of Spencer; nine grandchildren Eric, Matt, Andy, Tom, Marcey, Jesse, Carley, Ian and Abbey; four great-grandchildren Miles, Wrigley, Alayah and Daniel; sisters Geraldine Gray of Littleton, Colorado, Donna Grover of Mason City, Connie Borneman of Hampton, Theresa Franke of Dumont and brother Larry Jones of Mason City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother.
Per Betty's wishes, no services will be held.
I enjoyed knowing Betty, she frequented my floral shop and we always enjoyed her company. Always a smile and a laugh. So sorry for your loss, may you be comforted by sharing memories of happy times. Mona Storm
