Robert James "Jim" Nemmers, Jr, 65, of Sedalia, Colorado, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020, at Castle Rock Adventist Hospital in Castle Rock, Colorado. He was born on August 21, 1955, in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, to Robert J. and Betty J. (Minnier) Nemmers.
Jim graduated from Wickliffe High School in Ohio. Throughout his life, Jim lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, Iowa and Colorado. He enjoyed fishing, Star Trek and classic cars and was affiliated with the Methodist Church.
Jim is survived by his sister Mary Jean Lowe of Chardon, Ohio, sister Patricia Cravens of Mazon, Illinois, sister Kristine Nemmers of Clearwater, Florida, brother LeRoy (Janet) Nemmers of Sedalia, Colorado, along with many nieces, grandnieces, nephews, grandnephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Sr, his mother Betty, brother-in-law John Cravens Jr and grandniece McKenzie Montgomery.
Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home in Dumont, with burial to follow in the Dumont Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service at the funeral home starting at 9:30 a.m.
