Sad to learn of Gene's passing. I learned a lot obout carpet, vinyl etc working together back in the late 70's. He was excellent at the craft, and always did it the right way.
So sorry to hear about your loss.. in thoughts and prayers.
I remember Gene from many years ago. I never really got to know him. He was an older guy when I was still in high school (a whole 5 years, a lot to a kid). I did work a few jobs with him when I worked for my dad, Gar VanKleeck. I remember him as a nice guy and easy to work with. Sorry to hear of his passing.
Stan Van Kleeck
