I suppose our sons Mark and Kyle were our main link, however, Ann and I were good enough friends to stop for a chat when we met "on the street." A million years ago Dale and Ann and Alan and I attended, of all things, a hockey game in Mason City! I will definitely miss her -- an gentle and lovely lady.
So sorry for your loss. Miss Gilmer was my 5th grade home room teacher. I loved it when she read to us in the afternoon. She became our neighbor after she married and I rode Lucy's bus with Dallas and Dennis. I also baby sat Mark when he was only a few months old. Great neighbors to my mom. Ruth (Axiotis) Shoup
